Kairos of West Virginia

When a person agress to join the Team which Christ is building for a Kairos weekend, he/she also agrees to hand write (no photocopies allowed) a separate note to each of the Participants who will become a part of the community during the Kairos weekend.

 

Each letter is usually addressed to the Participant by name, though the letter may simply open with the salutation of "Dear Brother in Christ" or "Dear Sister in Christ."

 

Additionally, in Kairos, no "tracts" or other printed materials are to be used. No gifts of any kind are ever to be distributed during a Kairos weekend.

 

Letters should not be copies, but original letters written after prayer for guidance, indicating somethingabout the prayerful concern which the writer has assumed for the resident participant. The letters might include some sharing about the impact which the Team member's own 4th. day weekend experience has had on his/her life.
